Celtic have released Youssouf Mulumbu from his contract.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has told the Daily Mail that midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has been released from his contract at Parkhead.
The Bhoys are making changes to their squad this summer, and have added two new faces in Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell.
A move for David Turnbull fell through after two weeks of on-off negotiations, but after signing Connell, Celtic have seemingly felt it applicable to offload a midfielder.
Veteran Mulumbu was signed by Brendan Rodgers last summer, pouncing to sign the veteran on a free transfer after he chose to leave Kilmarnock.
The 32-year-old made just three appearances for Celtic before returning to Kilmarnock on loan in January, and he has now played his final game for Celtic.
Lennon has confirmed that Mulumbu has been released, as Celtic have activated a break clause in his contract, which meant Celtic would get shut immediately after one year at Parkhead.

With the first year of his deal ending today, Celtic have decided to offload the DR Congo international, who is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations, and won’t be coming back to Celtic.
“Mulumbu is a free,” said Lennon. “He is away, so there is not a future here for him,” he added.
