Neil Lennon worked with Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk at Celtic.

Lennon signed Van Dijk for Celtic back in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £2.6 million.
The Netherlands international central defender was superb for the Hoops during the two seasons he was at the Glasgow giants.
The 27-year-old joined Southampton in the Premier League in the summer of 2015 and earned the big move to Liverpool in January 2018.
Van Dijk has established himself as one of the best central defenders in the Premier League and is a rock at the back for Liverpool, and Lennon – who is back as the Celtic manager – believes that the Dutchman can be a success at Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus.

Lennon told The Glasgow Evening Times about Van Dijk: “He could play for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and it wouldn’t be a problem.
“The pressures are different, but he could adapt to that no problem. You could double what Liverpool paid for him.”
