Celtic defender Liam Morrison is wanted by German clubs.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has told The Scottish Sun that defender Liam Morrison will not be leaving for Bayern Munich this summer – and is actually in talks about a new contract.
Much of the focus has been on another defender, as Celtic have snapped up centre back Christopher Jullien in a big-money move from Toulouse.
Jullien will now join Kristoffer Ajer, Jozo Simunovic and Jack Hendry in the defensive ranks at Celtic, but there’s real hope that Morrison will join them in the future.
The 16-year-old has been coming up through the ranks at Parkhead, and his huge potential has resulted in major interest in his signature.
Morrison is wanted by Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in Germany, with the two big-name Bundesliga sides looking to lure him away from Scotland.
A move to Germany didn’t exactly go well for ex-Bhoys winger Oliver Burke, and Celtic are now fighting to make sure that the centre back doesn’t move on to Germany.
Lennon has now tackled the subject, suggesting that a move away is ‘not going to happen’, and Celtic won’t accept or even listen to any offers for the teenager.

Lennon added that he thinks Celtic are in talks about a new deal for Morrison, and he has been impressed with his progress around the first team so far this summer.
“That’s not going to happen. There is interest from Germany but Liam’s our player and we want to develop him,” said Lennon. “We’re not accepting any, or open to any, offers for him.”
“I think we’re in negotiations over a new contract. It’s too early to say with him but he’s doing really well. He played well last Wednesday night. We’re very pleased with his progress,” he added.
