Celtic boss Neil Lennon led his side to a 2-0 victory over Hearts last night.

When Brendan Rodgers was in charge he created a style at Celtic which demanded that they retained possession and stayed patient.
But Lennon is open to a slightly more direct approach in the final third.
And even though Celtic won 2-0 against St. Mirren, Lennon felt that there was still room for improvement.
“Tonight, we created a number of good chances, and if there’s any criticism at all, it’s that we didn’t win the game by a bigger margin, we were in total control,” he said.
“If we’d scored the penalty, that’d have put us 2-0 up before half-time and we would have been in cruise control at that point. I think there are times where we overplay in games, and that’s not a massive criticism, but I just want to get us over the line.”
Celtic took the lead against St. Mirren early on when Timothy Weah finished well.

The Bhoys never really looked like slipping up after that, but it took them a long time to extend their advantage.
In the end it took a late strike from Ryan Christie to seal the three points for Celtic.
Celtic’s win means that they have retained their 13 point advantage at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, with their next match coming against Livingston.
