Neil Kilkenny helped Leeds United earn promotion from League One.

Former Leeds United midfielder Neil Kilkenny has told Perth Glory’s match day programme that he wants to become the Whites’ manager one day.
Kilkenny is now playing for the Australian side, but he is eyeing up a return to Elland Road once he retires.
The central midfielder enjoyed his time so much at Leeds that he dreams of having ultimate control of the team in the future.

“Even now the first results I look out for are Leeds United’s because it’s a fantastic club and when I eventually move into coaching and management once I retire, I’d love to be manager of Leeds one day,” Kilkenny said.
Kilkenny is now 32, so it may be some time before he hangs up his boots.
The Australian international is studying for his coaching badges, with a step into management the next step in his career plan.

Kilkenny played for Leeds between 2008 and 2011, making 144 appearances for the Whites, and helping them to promotion from League One.
Kilkenny has also represented the likes of Birmingham City, Bristol City and Preston North End over his career.
