Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he feels that Arsenal fans need to be careful in demanding Stan Kroenke’s resignation.
Following news about the European Super League, Arsenal’s owner has come under huge pressure to stand down.
Arsenal supporters have been fed up with Kroenke’s ownership for years, but the Super League plans seem to have pushed things to breaking point.
Gunners supporters have posted banners demanding the American’s resignation outside the ground and also have been very vociferous on social media.
But Redknapp feels that Arsenal supporters should be cautious going after their owners.
“They’re talking about points deductions and sacking boards. You have to be so careful when you say these things,” he said.

“You can’t just sack them. They are there for a reason, the likes of Sheik Mansour, Roman Abramovic. But they’re business people.
“You’re never going to have a Jack Walker, where the richest man in the town will own your club. It’s different now.
“So we have to take a breath and people are saying get rid of Kroenke. But you have to get rid of Kroenke for what he’s done, not because you don’t like him in the first place.
“There is so much to take into account. My advice would be just to stand still and wait for things to happen now.
“Because it’s such a stressful time for everybody and emotions are riding so high.
“But we still have the best league in the world in the Premier League here.”
Despite Redknapp’s advice, the anger among Arsenal fans is so vast currently that it is difficult to see how Kroenke turns opinions around.
That being said, the Daily Mail claim that Kroenke is still unlikely to sell the club, despite the mounting pressure on him to leave.
