Tottenham lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace on Saturday, and they’ll be hoping to regain a bit of momentum on Thursday as they face Rennes in the Europa Conference League.
This will be Spurs’ first group game in this brand new competition, and while it is a European competition, we can’t imagine that Spurs are going to be placing too much importance on these games.
Of course, as with any match, Nuno Espirito Santo will be wanting to win, but we’re sure he’ll have one eye on the game against Chelsea this weekend.
Spurs are expected to rotate their side here, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the London club’s starting XI for the Rennes game.

We think Tottenham will be making plenty of changes here.
Pierluigi Gollini starts between the sticks, while there’s a heavily rotated back four of Matt Doherty, Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon and Ben Davies.
The midfield is rather strong. Tanguy Ndombele gets a rare start after it was reported that he expected to play in this match, while Harry Winks and Dele Alli also play in the midfield.
Lucas Moura is the most experienced forward in this side with Dane Scarlett and Bryan Gil starting alongside the Brazilian as we expect Nuno to hand youth a chance in the Conference League.
