LONDON, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 20: Tanguy NDombele and Moussa Sissoko of Tottenham Hotspur warm up prior to the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 20, 2020 in London, England. Moussa Sissoko admitted on his Instagram story that he misses his ‘two little brothers’ Tanguy Ndombele and Serge Aurier, who he played with at Tottenham.

Both Tottenham players responded to the player’s message with a bit of tongue-in-cheek like comments.

Ndombele’s response, on his own Instagram story, was, ‘this is how you prank us’.

Whilst Aurier, who left Tottenham last summer by terminating his contract, added: ‘Pff, didn’t you see I didn’t answer anything.’

Nonetheless, this was the original comment the duo were reacting to, after Sissoko was asked by a fan on IG, during a Q/A, whether he misses Aurier and Ndombele: “Yes, my two little brothers.”

Along with Aurier, Sissoko also departed Tottenham in the summer, but on a free transfer, as he moved to newly-promoted Watford.

As portrayed during Tottenham’s All or Nothing documentary, the French-speaking trio, were very close to one another.

Whilst Aurier and Sissoko are no longer in Spurs colours, Ndombele still is, but it might not last long.

The ball-carrying midfielder was booed off during Tottenham’s FA Cup win on Sunday and then left out of the matchday squad that was beaten by Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The signs are pretty clear that the time is up for Tottenham’s club-record signing.

After faltering under Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo, the same signs are being showcased under Conte.

And, just like Mourinho, he isn’t a manager that will put up with it for much longer.

So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Tottenham part ways with the player during the January transfer window, whether it’s a loan or selling him for good.
