New Tottenham signing Tanguy Ndombele comments on club’s defeat to Liverpool.

New Tottenham Hotspur signing Tanguy Ndombele says the club were unlucky to lose the Champions League final.
Spurs lost 2-0 to Liverpool after goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi, with the first being the result of a very controversial penalty.
Spurs signed Ndombele for a club record £65 million last month, a sign of their determination to kick on.
Ndombele has told Football London how he looked at Tottenham’s progress after their elimination by Lyon.
He said: “I watched the semi-final. I didn’t believe we could do it, especially when we were losing. When I saw Lucas scoring the hat-trick, it was crazy but we deserved to be in the final.
“In the final, it was complicated. We were unlucky. That’s football. This year we’ll try to do even better than last year.”

Ndombele is not going to be the only signing to join Spurs this summer.
The club look set on signing Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham, with The Telegraph reporting a £20 million plus move is close.
Ndombele made his Tottenham debut at the weekend, providing an assist for Lucas Moura against Juventus.
