Arsenal fans across the world have been tweeting their feelings on last night’s 3-0 win, which was not quite enough to avoid their exit from the Champions League.
Here’s what the Chicago Bulls star had to say on Twitter, @Luoldeng9: It hurts but we gave it everything @Arsenal. Heads high fellas.
And here is a selection of tweets from fellow Arsenal fans:
@gsw1986: Proud of my arsenal tonight. We were sooooo close and gave it everything and much more, just unlucky. Top top effort and bring on 4th spot! It’s heartbreaking that it’s not finished the way it looked like it could, but what a way to show commitment & desire.
@Callum_manfredi: Proud to be a gooner! #AFC
@harryantino: Good performance from the ox on a brighter note…..However Gervinho was bang average again he owes us a good game
@whitebishop600: All #Afc players am proud of you guys, keep your head high
@JackJeffrey10: If only Milan had a football pitch instead of a rugby one in the first leg
@rosscarter19: We never quite made it, but will never forget the euphoria and hope when celebrating Arsenal’s goals
@jack_panache: Lets hope The Ox & Theo recover quick or we’ll regret the effort we put in. Come on lads, let’s go get 3rd spot! Proud to be a #gooner
@scootarelli: valiant effort from the #afc lads tonight, just lacking in quality from the bench to push for the fourth
@RVaroujian: Electric atmosphere at Emirates as goal by goal, possibility of improbability came closer to reality. Sadly not to be #arsenal
@Willythinks: And amongst all that, despite the loss overall, we just thrashed a very good AC Milan team. Bittersweet. Sigh. Onwards and upwards. #afc
@keemserv: So close, yet so far for the Gunners..What a match! But that second half was bad…
@rhyshowells23: Proud to be a gooner! #afc
