Video of the incident began circulating rapidly across social media. TheHoopsAlerts on X shared footage that appears to show Ball’s Hummer colliding with another car on a Charlotte street before driving away.

A second angle added further intrigue. Joe Bruno on X posted a clip showing Ball later stepping out of the damaged Hummer and getting into a Lamborghini.

Together, the videos appear to show the Hornets guard involved in a collision, departing the immediate scene, and later abandoning the visibly damaged SUV for another luxury vehicle.

No official clarification has yet been issued explaining the full sequence of events.

NBA fans question what happened next

Reaction online was immediate and largely sceptical.

One fan wrote, “That’s interesting, wonder how the police will feel about that,” while another questioned, “He got to leave the scene? Was he drunk? High?” reflecting concern over whether proper protocol was followed.

Others mocked the situation, with one comment reading, “Bro thinks he’s in GTA.”

Some responses focused on driving standards more broadly. “He drives so bad a regular person would have their license suspended,” one user posted, while another asked bluntly, “So he fled the scene?”

Until further details emerge, the clips continue to circulate widely, with fans drawing their own conclusions about what they witnessed.
