Wales media praise Leeds star James for Netherlands display
Coming up against Juventus star de Ligt might have been daunting for James. A player that cost the Serie A club £77million (Goal). But as Wales Online report, James made de Ligt look very ordinary.
Yes, the end product continues to be an issue for James and that is more than evident in his stats. Five goals, five assists in 35 Wales caps – almost the same at Leeds; four goals, give assists in 35 Leeds outings.
It is an area he needs to improve, but his ability to get Wales or Leeds up the pitch with his work rate, tenacity and speed is second to none. He remains an incredibly important tool for club and country.
