Billy Gilmour kick-started his career at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and his old team-mate is hoping to do the same.

Nathan Young-Coombes has revealed to The Glasgow Evening Times that a move to Rangers came recommended by the Scottish club’s former starlet Billy Gilmour.
Rangers signed the 16-year-old striker from Chelsea in February.
The teenage gem has been steadily impressing for the Gers’ youth sides since joining.
And Young-Coombes told The Glasgow Evening Times that Gilmour – one of English football’s brightest young talents – spoke highly about the Auchenhowie club, where he left for the Blues nearly two years ago.
He said: “I did speak to Billy before I moved up and he wished me good luck. He said Rangers were a good club, he knew a lot of the boys and still speaks to them.
“He wished me all the best and said I would get a good opportunity up here.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Young-Coombes can develop into a striker good enough for Steven Gerrard’s first team. He looks to have the talent, but Rangers already have a backlog of promising young hitmen.
The likes of Andrew Dallas, Dapo Mebude and Zak Rudden are already making names for themselves, not to mention Ryan Hardie who is slightly further along in his development.
