The Southampton player would be a great addition for Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a recent report from the Express, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is targeting Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha as one of three new signings this summer, but there is another wide man who would be a considerably better option for Spurs in the form of Nathan Redmond.
The Southampton player has become an integral player at St Mary’s under Claude Puel and his performance in the 4-3 victory against Watford on Saturday may just have been his best in a Saints shirt so far.
Redmond’s brace made it six goals for the season and while he has only recently arrived at St. Mary’s, he would be a better long-term option than Zaha.
There is no doubting the former Manchester United man’s ability, however Redmond has all the attributes to be an effective and – perhaps more importantly a consistent – creative force for Tottenham.
He is also likely to cost less than the Palace man and his versatility means he would solve a whole host of problems over a season at White Hart Lane.

A left winger who can also operate on the opposite flank, as a secondary striker or as an attacking midfielder, Redmond is the target Tottenham should be looking at.
Southampton have had a habit of selling a key player or two in summers gone by and while they would had to part company with Redmond so soon, Tottenham would be wise to at least test the water.
