Nathan Oduwa was on loan at Glasgow Rangers.
Nathan Oduwa at Rangers
Oduwa joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Tottenham in the summer of 2015.
The former Nigeria Under-23 international’s loan spell at Ibrox was cut short in the middle of the season, and he returned to Tottenham in January 2016.
The 23-year-old has reflected on his loan spell at Rangers and has spoken highly of the Ibrox faithful.
Oduwa has also suggested that he should have been given more guidance at Rangers and has thanked then manager Mark Warburton.
Oduwa told World Football Index: “I have to thank Mark Warburton a lot, because he did give me that confidence and that freedom to express myself without being scared, and at the same time do it in the right areas of the pitch.
“Every player has different form during their playing career, I just felt I could have got a bit more guidance during that time in my loan spell when I was not playing well.
“The fans of Rangers are amazing, and the structure of the club and the way everything is organised is fantastic.”

Back to Rangers?
It is not unheard of players returning to Rangers – Kyle Lafferty and Steven Davis recently did that – and perhaps in the future Oduwa could be back at Ibrox.
After all, the winger is only 23 years of age, and he can get better in the coming years.
Back in December 2018, The Scottish Sun quoted the youngster as saying that he would love to return to Rangers in the future.
