Nathan Baker has left Aston Villa to join Bristol City today.
Nathan Baker has sent a message to Aston Villa fans on Twitter, thanking them for their support, following his move to Bristol City earlier today.
Baker left Villa permanently for the first time in his professional career, after being deemed surplus to requirements by Steve Bruce.

Villa have brought in John Terry and Christopher Samba this summer, and Bruce deemed Baker to be expendable.
The powerful centre-back appears to bear no grudges against his former side though, and expressed his gratitude to the Midlands club’s supporters.
Baker’s sale for Villa raises funds for Bruce’s side, after heavy investment in recent transfer windows.
Villa are battling to fit in with financial fair play implications, and need to offload a number of players in the coming weeks.
Villa are among the favourites for promotion this term, with the pressure on Bruce’s side.
Bristol City, meanwhile, will be hoping to improve on last season, when they finished in 17th position.
