The 26-year-old is an attacking full-back in every sense, and contributes just as much offensively as he does defensively, with his record of nine assists in 37 outings last term serving as evidence of his attacking prowess.
The Algeria international possesses high levels of stamina, and is an all around athlete – two attributes that are vital for anyone who plays under Koeman, what with his insistence on all of his players buying into the high intensity pressing game.

Not that money is an issue for the Blues, but the fact that Ghoulam has just 10 months remaining on his current deal means that they should be able to secure themselves a bargain for the left-back.
The Napoli star would undoubtedly provide stringent competition for Leighton Baines, and Koeman should absolutely not hesitate to bring him to Goodison Park.
