Turkish giants Fenerbahce played out a 2-2 draw with the Scottish Premiership champions at Celtic Park in Glasgow in the Group A encounter.
It was expected to be a tough match for Celtic, but they went 2-0 up after 32 minutes, thanks to goals from Leigh Griffiths and Kris Commons.
However, Fenerbahce launched a comeback and halved the deficit on 43 minutes through Fernandao, who took advantage of a mistake from Efe Ambrose to find the target.
Fernandao equalised for the Istanbul-based outfit just three minutes into the second half at Celtic Park.
Following the game, Fenerbahce winger Nani, who joined the Istanbul-based outfit from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, posted the following message on Instagram:
