Queens Park Rangers forward Nahki Wells has taken to Twitter to send a positive message to the fans following the defeat to Leeds United.

Rangers suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Tyler Roberts put the West Yorkshire outfit in the lead in the 39th minute, and Manchester City-owned Jack Harrison made it 2-0 on 82 minutes.

Wells, on loan from Premier League club Burnley, is already looking forward to the next match for QPR.

QPR will return to action next weekend when they take on Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in London in the Championship.

Mark Warburton’s side are ninth in the league table at the moment with 23 points from 15 matches, two points behind sixth-placed Bristol City.

According to WhoScored, 29-year-old forward Wells has made 10 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Rangers so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in the process.

Wells joined Burnley from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.
