Nahki Wells joined Queens Park Rangers on loan from Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Wells joined Championship club QPR on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Burnley in the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old forward has played in four Championship matches for Rangers so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The Bermuda international – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has suggested that he is open to the idea of moving to QPR on a permanent deal.
“I love it here so far,” Wells told West London Sport. “You can’t think too far ahead, but if an opportunity arose like that in the future then, if I had to say it right now, it’s something I would gladly look at.
“The main focus at the moment is to focus and keep helping the team moving forward, do well for myself and see what door opens for the future.”
Burnley future
Wells has been on the books of Burnley since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Huddersfield Town for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5m.
The forward was able to play only 46 minutes of Premier League football for the Clarets last season and had injury concerns.
It is going to be hard for Wells to establish himself in the Burnley starting lineup next season.
