Yannick Bolasie has taken to Twitter to sing the praises of Alex Iwobi, following his impressive 75-minute shift against Brighton.

The ex-Crystal Palace man, who cost Everton £25 million, tweeted the following shortly after James Rodriguez’s first goal.

‘Nah nah nah….big up Iwobi every time! Bro that’s quality & obviously the magician is gonna tuck that away!’

The former Arsenal man was introduced in the 25th minute after Richarlison was forced off the field, and he certainly didn’t let Carlo Ancelotti down.

Iwobi – who earns £50k-a-week at Goodison Park according to Spotrac – assisted Rodriguez’s first goal with a nice shimmy and cross.

In addition to that bit of quality, the Nigerian also showed his industrial nature with four interceptions, two clearances and two tackles.

Bolasie has been told by Ancelotti that he isn’t a part of his squad, and can train with the Toffees until he finds a new club as The Liverpool Echo reported.

The DR Congo winger was tweeting updates about Everton’s 4-2 win over Brighton throughout the game – we presume he’d much rather have been out there enjoying himself with the rest of his teammates.

If the winger is to depart Goodison Park and join a club abroad, he has until Monday’s deadline to do so.

However, should no exit materialise by then, he will at least have until October 16th to find another club in England, due to the extended domestic deadline.
