According to a report in The Daily Record, Rangers are open to selling Barrie McKay in the summer transfer window.
McKay has been at Rangers his entire professional club career so far and has a contract with the Glasgow giants until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The 22-year-old winger is among a number of players who is on manager Pedro Caixinha’s list to be sold by the Gers in the summer, according to the report.
The Daily Record has also claimed that Rangers want £2 million as transfer fee in order to part company with the Scotland international.
Former Rangers forward Nacho Novo has explained why the Gers should not sell McKay in the summer transfer window.

“Of course more than anything it’s up to the player to prove he has the ability and mentality to play at a big club like Rangers,” Novo told The Daily Record about McKay.
“But it also depends on whether the new manager has the patience to want to work with Barrie and help him reach his full potential.
“He’ll have watched all of his players every day in training since he took charge and he may have made up his mind that he’d be better going with another option. If so that’s his right to make a judgment based on what he sees every day.
“But I’d be pleased if Barrie gets another chance to show what he can do with a bit of confidence in his game next season.”

According to a recent report in The Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest are interested in signing McKay from Rangers in 2018.
It has been reported that Forest manager Mark Warburton, who worked with the 22-year-old winger at the Gers, wants to bring the youngster to the City Ground.
Forest narrowly avoided relegation from the Championship to League One this season.
