West Bromwich Albion winger Nacer Chadli has revealed to Sky Sports how frustrated he was at Tottenham Hotspur.
Chadli left Tottenham to join Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the Baggies had to pay Spurs a transfer fee of £13 million in order to secure the services of the Belgium international.
The 27-year-old winger has revealed how frustrated he was at Spurs, and has said that he is happy to have moved to West Brom.
“It was very frustrating (at Tottenham),” Chadli told Sky Sports. “I trained all week but did not play. It was a difficult situation but I’m out of it now. It feels good to be a West Brom player.”
Chadli, who did not feature in a single Premier League game for Tottenham this season, is a good winger who is going to enhance the quality of the current West Brom squad.
The winger scored three goals and created 24 chances in 29 Premier League games for Spurs last season.
During the 2014-15 campaign, the former Twente man scored 11 goals and created 41 chances in 35 league matches for the North London outfit.
West Brom will return to action this weekend when they take on Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League.
