The West Bromwich Albion midfielder discusses a bet that took place between himself and his manager at the start of the season.

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Nacer Chadli has told the BBC that he owes manager Tony Pulis a meal after a bet that was made between the two as to whether the player could force his way back into the Belgium national side.
Chadli, who joined West Brom from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer has settled in to life at The Hawthorns with ease, with four goals in his first five Premier League matches.

The 27-year-old has admitted that being selected for the Belgium national side was one of the first discussions he had with Pulis, regarding the move and although he is happy to oblige to take his manager for a meal, it does not seem as though it will be as expensive as you might think.
With the midfielder joking that he could take Pulis to Nando’s.,Chadli told the BBC: “When I first came to West Brom, obviously he knew I needed game time to develop as a football player and he was certain that if I get game time that I would be back in the Belgium squad.”

When the BBC asked if he will deliver on his promise to buy the West Brom boss a meal Chadli replied “You have to,” before being questioned as to where: “Maybe Nando’s.”
Chadli has 32 caps for the Belgian national team to his name, scoring four goals and was part of their recent squad where he came off the bench during the 6-0 victory over Gibraltar in a World Cup qualifier, earlier this month.
