Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has told The Express & Star that West Bromwich Albion are aiming to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.

Chadli joined West Brom from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

According to The Express & Star, the Baggies had to pay Spurs a transfer fee of £13 million in order to secure the services of the Belgium international.

The 27-year-old has said that Tony Pulis’s side are aiming to break into the top 10 of the Premier League this season.

“Obviously you have the top five teams in the league,” Chadli told The Express & Star. “After that you always have a surprise in the top 10.

“I think the ambition for the club is to show good football, score a lot of goals and win games. It would be good to finish top 10, that would be a good season and a good start.”

West Brom are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with four points from three matches.

The Baggies will take on Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Chadli scored three goals and created 24 chances in 29 Premier League games for Tottenham last season.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the former Twente man scored 11 goals and created 41 chances in 35 league matches for the North London outfit.

Chadli is a good winger, and he should prove to be a success at West Brom.
