He stated:
“My priority was to play every week, to find the rhythm and be able to work with a coach who has confidence in me. I immediately find a good feeling.
“I wanted to remain in the Premier League, the most watched league in the world for a footballer is the summit to develop here, the intensity, the quality of the players and the fact that anyone can beat anyone. We saw last season with Leicester City. I think this is an incredible championship.”

He also admitted that his struggles with the Belgian national team, for whom he was dropped for the E`uropean Championships in France, also played a role in his decision to find a new team:
“If you have to make choices, is always a certain pressure subject. However, I must admit I was a selection might not be deserved because I had played hardly at Tottenham. I had so little reason to be angry.”
Chadli was popular among the Tottenham fans but it was clear he was not set for regular football at the club this season.

Now he will hope to continue that form as the season continues.
