Tottenham Hotspur star Nabil Bentaleb is one of the two highest profile Algerian footballers plying their trade in the Premier League.
The Spurs midfielder has been outshone by the Leicester City ace this season, whose dazzling displays have led the Foxes to the top of the league with 12 games remaining, and has a shot of winning the player of the season award.
Bentaleb wished his international teammate happy birthday via his Facebook page yesterday, with the Leicester winger turning 25.
This message was followed up by a message from a Tottenham fan urging him to try and convince the winger to join the club, and here’s how he responded.
Evidently he does not fancy his chances, but this is unlikely to be because Tottenham are not an attractive side, because they very much are a club many players would like to join at the moment.
The main issue is that Mahrez would cost a staggering amount, and there is a particularly high profile club linked with his signature… Barcelona.
