Arsenal target Georgiy Sudakov has received ‘precious advice’ from Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk about a move to England.
Mykhailo Mudryk could have a big influence on Arsenal’s hopes of signing Shakhtar Donetsk star Georgiy Sudakov in January.
The January transfer window is fast approaching and we may see Arsenal dip into the market for attacking reinforcements.
A new centre forward could be a priority, but Arsenal may also go for more of a versatile threat in Sudakov…
Arsenal interested in signing Georgiy Sudakov
Stop me if you think that you’ve heard this one before – Arsenal are eyeing a top Shakhtar Donetsk talent in January.
Last year, it was winger Mudryk before his stunning move to London rivals Chelsea instead.
This time it’s Sudakov with TEAMtalk reporting in October that Arsenal and Chelsea are going head-to-head for the Shakhtar ace.
Arsenal are thought to have spotted Sudakov whilst scouting Mudryk whilst the Chelsea wide man is now telling the Blues to go for his fellow Ukrainian.
The 21-year-old predominantly plays as an attacking midfield but also features out wide, bagging three goals and one assist in 13 games so far this season.
Sudakov taking advice from Mykhailo Mudryk
Sudakov has now spoken to The Telegraph, admitting that he and Mudryk talk a lot.
Mudryk has allegedly been giving ‘precious advice’ to Sudakov about a move to England, highlighting the difference in the pace of the game in the Premier League.
Mudryk is also telling Sudakov to move to the Premier League as soon as possible, believing that it can help develop his game.
The Chelsea winger feels that there aren’t many players like Sudakov in the Premier League, because he can provide ‘top passes and assists’ on a regular basis.
“Misha is my close friend and we talk a lot,” said Sudakov. “I already received some precious advice from him, in case I move to England. How to adapt, how it’s not easy to get into the pace of the game, so for me it’s very useful advice.
“He recommends moving to a top championship like the Premier League as quickly as possible because to develop your game it helps to adapt more quickly, physically and psychologically. Misha has got huge potential and perhaps one of the reasons why you didn’t see him at the top level in England yet is because he is saying there is not such a player like a Sudakov who constantly delivers with top passes and assists for him!” he added.
