The footage in question shows the Spurs wonderkid chatting after a youth game, displaying confidence that well and truly defies his age.
The 16-year-old, who would’ve been roughly 13 when this was filmed, is asked if he felt his side would lose having been 1-0 down with minutes to go.
Confidently, the teenager says ‘never’ with an air of swagger and belief in his words, something you’d associate with a player much older than him.
It’s crazy to think that the boy in the video now has a Premier League appearance under his belt, just three years after it was filmed.
By all accounts, Tottenham could have their next Harry Kane in the wings.
Don’t get us wrong – we certainly don’t want to heap the pressure on this young man’s shoulders at such a young age.
However, Football London say that Tottenham’s coaches believe he has a higher potential than any other striker at the club apart from Kane.
The glowing reviews of Scarlett are coming from all angles.
For his sake, let’s just hope he’s able to stay focused and keep his head on his shoulders.
