One of the best players for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season has been Micky van de Ven.
Micky van de Ven moved to Tottenham Hotspur from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window.
Van de Ven has hit the ground running at Spurs.
The 22-year-old has established himself at the heart of the Tottenham defence alongside Cristian Romero, a 2022 World Cup winner with Argentina.
Stephen Warnock on Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven
Former Liverpool player and Sky Sports pundit Stephen Warnock has been impressed by the displays produced by Van de Ven so far this season.
The pundit has noted that the Dutch defender is very fast.

Warnock said about Van de Ven on talkSPORT (5:09pm, October 9, 2023): “I watched him for the first time live against Liverpool, and I was thinking, ‘He is tall, he is rangy, how quick is he going to be on the turn?’
“He is not rapid over two or three yards, but then when he opens up, my word.
“He gave Salah above two or three yards, but then caught him comfortably. No problem.
“That is impressive. And he is brilliant on the ball as well.”
My View: Micky van de Ven is a Tottenham Hotspur gem
In my opinion, Micky van de Ven is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is a Tottenham Hotspur gem.
It can take players, especially young ones, some time to settle in the Premier League.
That has not been the case with Van de Ven.
The Dutchman has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.
Of course, we have to see how Van de Ven does in the coming weeks and months, but the signs at the moment are very promising indeed.
The Dutchman has scored one goal in eight Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season.
