Leeds fans have taken to Twitter in amazement after watching Crysencio Summerville score a hat-trick for the Under-23 side yesterday.
The Leeds youngsters managed to beat Burnley’s Under-23 side by a 4-1 scoreline yesterday, thanks to the Dutchman’s treble and a strike from Sam Greenwood.
Summerville – a £1.3 million signing from Feyenoord – is beginning to show why Marcelo Bielsa’s side parted with such a significant fee for an 18-year-old.
Now 19 years of age, the Dutch forward showed a glimpse of what he’s capable of in Yorkshire with a well-taken hat-trick against the Clarets.
Summerville’s first goal displayed his poaching ability. The teenager was alive in the area and pounced on a mistake to slam home.

His third goal was of similar style, as he tapped home following a parried save by Lewis Thomas.
While those finishes weren’t too glamourous, his second goal showcased what he’s all about.
After receiving a pass out on the right flank, Summerville played two quick one-twos before being put through on goal.

Impressively, the Rotterdam-born attacker let the ball run across his body with Thomas closing in on him, before slotting into an empty net.
His performance was so good, that one supporter ever compared him to ex-Leeds star Max Gradel while another namedropped Patrick Kisnorbo.
Let’s see what some more Leeds fans have been saying about Summerville…
