Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson has taken to Instagram to express his delight at his side’s automatic promotion to the Premier League.
West Bromwich Albion’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Huddersfield Town away from home in the Championship this evening means that the Whites have cemented their place in the top two.
Whatever the results in the final games of the season will not affect Leeds in terms of them winning automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds striker Edmondson, 19, has taken to Instagram to express his delight at the Whites’ feat, while ex-Whites striker Luciano Becchio has revelled in the triumph on Twitter.
Big season for Ryan Edmondson
Edmondson has been at Leeds since 2017, and the 19-year-old striker has played only a handful of matches for the first team.
The teenager is a very talented and promising player who has done well when he has been called into action, and perhaps next season he will get more chances.
After all, Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa will need a strong and big squad to cope with the Premier League, and it could be a big campaign for Edmondson in terms of making an impact.
