Patrice Evra shared his worry about Tottenham Hotspur on Sky Sports Main Event (1:06pm, November 22, 2020).

The former Manchester United star believes that Tottenham are going to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

However, the Frenchman is worried that Spurs could struggle in that quest if they get injuries to key players such as Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

Evra, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, made the comments following Tottenham’s 2-0 win against Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Frenchman said on Sky Sports Main Event (1:06pm, November 22, 2020): “Tottenham, they are going to be a good challenger. My only worry is about the bench, when they are going to lose like key players like Harry Kane, Son.”

Title challenge

It is true that injuries to Kane and/or Son would be hugely problematic for Tottenham, just not in their quest to challenge for the Premier League title but in their attempt to finish in the Champions League places as well.

However, the same could be said for any team in the Premier League. Injuries to key players at Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea will severely affect them as well.

Tottenham have a strong team, and the way they are playing and winning matches right now should make the fans feel very confident.
