Bukayo Saka has taken to Twitter to react after Arsenal recorded a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League earlier today.
The £33,000-a-week man was kicked all over the place at Villa Park, and told BBC Sport that his ankle was bleeding after full-time.
However, that wasn’t all Saka hurt.
What’s the story?
Well, the 20-year-old’s celebration didn’t go to plan after he scored the only goal of the game.
Saka attempted a knee-slide after opening the scoring against the Villans, but the dry pitch had other ideas.
The England international ended up tumbling over, as his knees collided uncomfortably with the Villa Park pitch.

Nevertheless, Saka seems pleased to be “back to winning ways” in an Arsenal shirt.

Thankfully, despite the damage to his ankle and knees, Saka doesn’t appear to be leaving the Midlands with an injury.
Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are carrying Arsenal
Following his strike against Aston Villa, Saka has now scored ten goals in all competitions for the Gunners this season – the Londoner also has five assists to his name.
He is now Arsenal’s joint-top scorer this term alongside Emile Smith Rowe, and it’s unique to see two Academy graduates carrying the side.

Of course, the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White and Martin Ødegaard are having tremendous campaigns as well.
However, goals win games, something Saka and Smith Rowe provide more than most.
Whatever Arsenal are feeding their prospects at Hale End, they need to keep it coming.
