Tottenham youngster, Jack Clarke, labelled Kalvin Phillips his ‘hero’ on Instagram as Leeds continued to celebrate their promotion to the Premier League yesterday.

Clarke, who left Elland Road for North London last summer, reacted to Phillips’ message on social media where he was praising his club after they lifted the Championship trophy at Elland Road.

Leeds recorded a 4-0 win over relegated Charlton to seal off a special day which saw them celebrate their success on the final day of the season.

Phillips sent this message on his Instagram account, as Clarke simply replied by saying ‘My hero’.

The likes of Tyler Roberts also responded to his message with the Leeds attacker stating: ‘True legend’.

Whilst Leeds have enjoyed one of their most successful campaigns in nearly two decades, it has been a different story for their former winger.

Spurs opted to loan Clarke back to Leeds when they initially signed him on a permanent basis last summer, but he struggled for game time so the Lilywhites recalled him back in January.

Clarke was then shipped across London to QPR where once again he has had an indifferent time, as he now returns to Spurs.
