Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa will face each other in the FA Cup this weekend.
Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has told The Mirror that Tottenham Hotspur are his favourite team to watch.
Championship club Villa will take on Premier League outfit Tottenham away from home at White Hart Lane in the third round of the FA Cup.
Bruce has revealed that Spurs are his favourite team to watch, and the former Hull City boss has also praised the North London club’s manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“They are my favourite team to watch because five of them are English for a start,” Bruce told The Mirror. “I am a big admirer of the manager, what he’s done and how he goes about his work.
“The work rate, the effort, the commitment – they could have won the league and just didn’t get over the line, maybe because they are young, but they have all matured.”
Tottenham have made massive progress under Pochettino and are in the running for the Premier League title this season.
The North London outfit also qualified for the group stage of the 2016-17 Champions League campaign.
There are a number of very good English players in the current Spurs teams such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
The high-pressing game that Tottenham play is superb to watch, and Pochettino does deserve a lot of credit for making the club compete with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
Spurs should be able to win against Villa with ease, even if they make a number of changes to the staring lineup.
