Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck may not wear Arsenal colours anymore, but they still have the respect of their former club and their fans.

Both strikers re-united at Stamford Bridge yesterday when Giroud’s Chelsea recorded a comfortable 3-0 win against Welbeck’s out-of-form Watford.

After the game, with Giroud netting a goal during the game, the former Arsenal duo re-united on the pitch and the Gunners faithful loved what they were seeing.

They may not be wearing the Arsenal colours anymore, but both have provided some great memories at the Emirates Stadium over the years.

Here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting to the video of Giroud and Welbeck embracing on the Stamford Bridge pitch yesterday at full-time:

Whilst Giroud is still thriving at Arsenal’s London rivals – and that doesn’t sit well with their fans. Welbeck has been struggling to get back onto the road that once saw him become an England regular.

Injury after injury has ruined the key years of Welbeck’s career, but he will be glad that he is back on the field of play where he will be hoping to help Watford maintain their Premier League status.

If he can find the form that saw him being adored by the Arsenal faithful then Nigel Pearson’s men will have a big chance in avoiding the drop.
