Danny Mills has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur attacker Richarlison is nothing like how he is portrayed in the media.
As proven during the World Cup with Brazil, the Spurs forward is a stunning footballer and often makes headlines for the right reasons, such as his sublime goal against Serbia in his nation’s opening group game.
Richarlison can, however, also make headlines for the wrong reasons.
The former Everton star, a £60 million signing by Tottenham, occasionally makes headlines for the wrong reasons, whether it’s rumours of attitude problems or Twitter spats with high-profile pundits, such as Jamie Carragher.

However, Mills has revealed that he knows people at Everton who have told him personally that he is nothing like how he is often portrayed.
He told Stadium Astro: “I know a little bit at Everton and my connections there. He’s not like that. The media portray him as being moody, grumpy and a bit disruptive at times.”
Richarlison brings some criticism on himself, like showboating against Nottingham Forest for virtually no reason back in August.
But there’s other criticisms that he certainly doesn’t deserve in the slightest and hopefully the £90,000-a-week Lilywhites player can shed that personna in the long term.
When it comes to football, Richarlison is a massive talent and there’s a chance that we’re all talking about him in that context shortly, should Brazil go all the way in Qatar.
