Barcelona fans are in meltdown after hearing that are keen on signing Divock Origi from Liverpool.

The cash-strapped club have the Liverpool striker on a shortlist of goalscorers they want to sign when the winter transfer window opens, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.

Origi has one-year remaining on his current Liverpool deal, and given that he has only played two minutes of Premier League football this term, the signs are pretty clear.

Ever since the Belgian walked through the doors of the Merseyside giants, he has been a fringe player, although he has put his name into the legendary books for his goals during their Champions League triumph in 2019.

And when he does make his expected exit, he may swap one giant club for another, which does and doesn’t come as a surprise.

Either way, Barca fans are sharing how far they have fallen given those links with Origi.

The issue with the player is that he has hardly played or seemingly hasn’t pushed himself out of Anfield to get himself back on track in recent years.

So, if he does end up at the Nou Camp, then playing regularly will feel odd because he hasn’t done it for some while now.

Here is a selection of Barca fans reacting to the Origi rumour:
