Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing that Willian had liked a post on Instagram involving Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
A post from Sport Bible portrayed the fact that the 70-cap Brazil international has recorded five Premier League assists this season.
It then compared his tally to Pulisic and Ziyech’s combined total, which amounts to four Premier League assists this term.
Now, seeing as the £58 million American and the £33.3 million Moroccan cost a combined £91.3 million, whereas Willian was free, this is quite funny.
Willian hasn’t really been at his best this season, but the fact he’s been more creative than two very expensive, world-class stars is rather impressive.
He’s clearly proud of his assists tally, given the fact he liked the post from Sport Bible.
His Instagram activity has led to plenty of Arsenal fans reacting on Twitter, with some feeling that he’s milking his good form of late.
The 32-year-old has two assists in his last two games, having set up a teammate in the win over Benfica, and also the win over Leicester.
He even received the WhoScored Man of the Match award for his display against the Foxes, with a 7.99 match rating.
