Gavi has reiterated his love for Barcelona, amid interest form Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Barcelona midfielder Gavi has told Movistar that his “dream” has always been to be at Camp Nou, despite interest from Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Times have reported in March 2023 that Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in signing Gavi in the summer of 2023.

The report claimed that the 18-year-old “could become available on a free transfer because of a dispute over whether the Spanish club can afford to register” him.

There is reportedly a dispute between Barcelona and La Liga over Gavi’s contract.

This is not the first time that Gavi has stated his love for Barcelona.

Earlier this week, the Spain international midfielder said that he was very happy to have won the La Liga title with Barcelona this season and made it clear that he wants to stay at Barcelona.

Liverpool or Manchester City unlikely to be able to sign Gavi from Barcelona

In our view, Liverpool or Manchester City are unlikely to be able to sign Gavi from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

It is very likely that Barcelona will find some way to get everything sorted with the the £124,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder’s contract.

That Gavi himself is so keen on staying at Barcelona shows that he has no desire to leave Camp Nou.
