Some Watford fans are convinced that their Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion-linked captain, Troy Deeney, will be leaving Vicarage Road shortly.
Deeney has been linked with moves to both Tottenham and West Brom in the wake of Watford’s relegation from the Premier League.
According to The Daily Mail, the Hornets are now close to strengthening in the 32-year-old’s position, with Glenn Murray set to undergo a medical at the club ahead of a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
And the following Watford supporters are convinced that Murray’s arrival is not to complement Deeney…
Deeney is likely to find regular first-team football harder to come by at Tottenham than he is at West Brom, owing to the presence of Harry Kane in north London.
And the chance to return to the Birmingham area, in which he was born and raised, could be another strong pull towards the latter club for the former Walsall player.

Deeney has spent the past 10 years at Watford, for whom he has scored 133 goals in 398 games across all competitions.
