Martin Keown has suggested on BT Sport that Arsenal may have suffered another injury blow after Bukayo Saka went off last night.
Mikel Arteta opted to take Saka off in the 64th minute, with Martin Odegaard replacing him, just after Palace had equalised.
The Arsenal youngster didn’t appear to be carrying a serious issue.
However, Saka had been a bright spark in Arsenal’s team up until that point.
And Keown thinks that the only reason Arteta would have taken the 20-year-old off is due to a fitness problem.
“One assumes that Saka must have an injury, or some sort of a problem,” he said, just after Saka was taken off.
Arteta did not confirm after the game whether his substitution was down to tactical reasons or fitness ones.
His change did at least have an impact, as Arsenal went on to win the game 3-1, with Odegaard claiming an assist for Gabriel Martinelli’s goal.

If Saka has picked up a knock that could be a heavy blow for Arsenal, though.
The youngster has been one of their brightest players this term and it would be a huge problem if he was forced to miss out on their final day of the season.
Arsenal have fought their way back into European contention, but they will have to beat Brighton & Hove Albion on the last day to stand any hope of qualifying.
If Saka is out that will be a blow to their chances of success, and could hurt their attacking play.
