‘Must be protected’: Some Everton fans love what their player did on Sky last night

Everton fans lauded Dominic Calvert-Lewin for his appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

Given that the striker is injured, he watched Everton’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves from the Sky studios as he was a pundit on MNF, alongside Jamie Carragher.

It would have been hard viewing for the striker because the Toffees produced a poor performance and deservedly walked away with nothing to their name.

There weren’t many positives to take from Molineux, but there was one bright spark in London in the form of Calvert-Lewin.

Looking like he was ready to fashion for Hugo Boss, Everton fans loved how he presented himself to the world and his choice of fashion sense.

Despite still being a present player, the 24-year-old was confident enough to put himself in the spotlight and talk about current matters in the footballing world.

Perhaps he has a future in punditry when he finishes retiring and possibly taking the seat of a current Liverpudlian at Sky.

Either way, as much as the Goodison Park faithful appreciated what DCL was doing off the field, they need him back and out on that pitch as soon as possible.
