Former Celtic assistant manager Murdo MacLeod has told BBC Sport that he thinks the Hoops signed better players than Rangers this season.

Rivals Rangers were much busier as they added no fewer than 11 players to their squad for their first season back in the top-flight.
Their biggest spend was £1 million of Joe Garner, with the majority of their signings coming courtesy of the free transfer market.
And MacLeod says he feels his former side signed a higher class of player than Mark Warburton’s team.
“Celtic have brought in the higher-class player, I think,” he told BBC Sport.
“When you are bringing players from Liverpool, boys who have played at Man City – it is good quality players they have brought in. But Rangers have brought in good quality as well.”

It now remains to be seen whether Celtic prove MacLeod right when the two sides meet in the Old Firm derby this weekend.
It is likely to be a tight clash between the rivals at Celtic Park, who will be both be determined to ensure they come away with all three points.
The result could end up being determined by a moment of magic or class, and both MacLeod and Celtic will certainly be hoping his comments prove to be true.
