Newcastle United and Huddersfield Town are among the clubs linked with Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic.
Simunovic has been on the books of Celtic since 2015 and has a contract with the Scottish Premiership giants until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The 22-year-old central defender is a very talented and promising young player, but former Celtic midfielder MacLeod, who is 58 years of age, believes that the Glasgow giants should sell the Croatian.

“Has been constantly linked with a move and saw a deal with Torino collapse last summer,” MacLeod told The Daily Record about Simunovic.
“The 22-year-old has gone through a bad time with injuries but when he’s fully fit people know he can play. I could see him moving to England. Verdict: Sell.”
If Celtic do decide to part company with Simunovic in the summer transfer window, then the youngster will probably not find it hard to find a new club.
According to a report in The Daily Mail last month, Premier League trio Newcastle United, Huddersfield Town and Burnley are interested in the Croatian Under-21 international centre-back.
Russian club Spartak Moscow are also credited with interested in the 22-year-old, who is reportedly rated at £8 million.
Celtic won the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup last season.
