Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said on Sky Sports News (2:01pm, December 4, 2021) that he is hopeful that Emile Smith Rowe will recover from the injury that he suffered against Manchester United and will be available against Everton.

Arteta took off Smith Rowe in the 70th minute of the Premier League game against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.

The Gunners lost the match 3-2.

Smith Rowe scored in the first half for Arsenal.

Arsenal will return to action on Monday evening when they take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Emile Smith Rowe injury update

Arteta said on Sky Sports News (2:01pm, December 4, 2021): “Let’s see how he is tomorrow. He recovered well, was much better yesterday, so we will have to assess tomorrow and hopefully he will be fine.”

Encouraging for Arsenal

In our view, Arteta’s injury update on Smith Rowe is very encouraging for Arsenal fans.

The Arsenal manager’s comments suggest that the 21-year-old will be available for the match against Everton.

The game is on Monday, and we think that, based on Arteta’s comments, the England international will play against Everton.

That will surely enhance Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League game against Rafael Benitez’s side.

The Arsenal no. 10 has scored five goals and provided two assists in 13 Premier League starts so far this season.
