David Moyes has been speaking to the media ahead of West Ham’s Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow evening.
One of the questions put to the former Manchester United boss was in regards to his contract.
Moyes’ current terms at the London Stadium expire in 2021. When asked about the potentiality of a fresh deal, Football London quote him as saying: ‘When the time is right. Lets wait and see.’
A very brief answer from the Scotsman, it must be said.
In our view, the former Everton manager has earned a new contract.
Moyes has stabilised the Hammers, overseeing some fantastic results of late including wins over Wolves and Leicester, as well as draws against Tottenham and Manchester City.

It seems that the 57-year-old also has the backing of his players.
The Daily Mail recently revealed that the West Ham squad believe Moyes deserves to stay in east London, having kept the club in the Premier League last term while helping them kick on this season.
It’s hard to argue with that sentiment.

With plenty of frustration towards the West Ham board – even Mark Noble tweeted his anger towards them – Moyes has calmed the waters with some positive results.
At the end of the day, that is his job as a manager, and he’s doing it well – the Irons boss definitely deserves a fresh deal.
