Tyler Roberts, Harry Wilson and Hal Robson-Kanu were just a number of Premier League players who reacted to Sheffield United signing Ethan Ampadu on a season-long loan.

Leeds United’s Roberts simply wrote on Ampadu’s Instagram page, ‘movesss’, whilst West Brom’s Robson-Kanu stated, ‘My guy. Go do your thing bro.’ Wilson also wrote, ‘Okay’ added with a couple of fire emojis.

They weren’t the only ones responding because Ampadu’s former RB Leipzig teammates, Dani Olmo also responded to his Instagram message by saying, ‘Let’s go brooo’, as American international, Tyler Adams, wrote a similar message.

This is a great chance for Ampadu to showcase his talents on the Premier League stage on a regular basis and try to break into Frank Lampard’s plans for the future despite the Chelsea boss spending big this summer.

He will also get a taste of the Sheffield United and Leeds United rivalry because both teams will meet in England’s top-flight for the first time in a long while.

Ampadu has his Wales teammate, Roberts, on the other side of the divide and he will be hoping to get the better of the versatile attacker when they meet.

Chris Wilder’s side proved last season that a newly-promoted team can produce the goods, even if it’s their first season in England’s top-flight in over 10 years.

Leeds would have seen their performances and many will be backing them to potentially go down the same path as the Blades for the forthcoming campaign.
