The current Bradford City manager and former England boss have leapfrogged two ex-Ipswich Town players.

Simon Grayson, the Bradford City manager, and Steve McClaren have each seen their odds cut to 7/1 to become the new manager of Ipswich Town, with one bookmaker.
The pair are now Sky Bet’s fourth favourites for the position, which will remain occupied by Mick McCarthy until his contract expires at the end of the season, after leapfrogging former Ipswich players Shefki Kuqi (9/1) and Tony Mowbray (8/1), who is now the Blackburn Rovers manager.

Grayson, who began the season at Sunderland, only took charge of Bradford in February and has only won one of his six games in charge so far.
Grayson’s deal also expires at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether the 48-year-old, who has won promotion with all four clubs he has managed in League One, will be kept on by the Bantams.

McClaren is already a free agent, having previously managed at Derby County.
The former England manager, who left a consultancy role at Maccabi Tel Aviv at the turn of the year, was reported by the Sun last month to be Ipswich’s number one target.
Lincoln City’s Danny Cowley (2/1), Alan Pardew (3/1) and Wigan Athletic’s Paul Cook (5/1) remain ahead of the pair in the betting?
Would the Bradford/former England boss be a good appointment for Ipswich Town?
